Psalms

This page is built on a hunch. Does the 150 psalms match the 144,000 at 1 psalm per thousand? The 144,000 have a 6,000 day "halo" that extends another 6000 days. This sums to 150,000 days and suggests strongly that Psalms is an overlay to the tribes, with a lot more coverage. This page explores the details, and gives enough evidence to support the thought.

Background

We were exploring the question of the book order map and realized there might be a match of the Psalms to the seals as described across much of the middle of the Book of Luke.

That section of Luke, sending out the 70 + 2 + 2 + 70 = 144 is a play on sending out the 144 thousand, a prophetic match.

Psalms may match, the problem is the extra 6 psalms, but the 144,000 are in 6000 day halos, with 6000 days on either side of each seal. This means the last seal has 6000 additional days. Total: 150,000, 1 thousand modern days per psalm.

Confirming this though is the opening of Psalms, written by David, the leader, the oxen, the king, the thousand, over ancient Israel.

Meaning

Each of these 150 identified dates is prophetic for either an event, or a 1000 day period, across the 150,000 days identified.

If the dates are "point dates" then the dates given, with about a 3 day tolerance, are the dates when things would be expected.

If the dates are "buckets" then the dates given are the first dates in 1000 day long intervals, ending on the day before the following date.

Internal Consistency

Enough of the dates marked above match dates with known tribal seal dates to confirm the internal consistency from within the Bible of this thought.

Interesting Examples

Use the dates from the previous table to understand the dates that go with the following psalms. The following are particularly interesting.

Psalm 1: Dan

Dan is the judge of the other tribes. It is the location of the modern world court.

1Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. Psalms 1:12But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. Psalms 1:23He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers. Psalms 1:34Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away. Psalms 1:45Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. Psalms 1:56For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish. Psalms 1:6
(Psalms 1 NIV)

Psalm 13: Judah

Judah became Russia.

In prophetic language Judah, Russia, is almost always depicted as blind. This psalm continues the pattern.

The continuous problem of other countries invading Russia is also seen in this Psalm.

1How long, O LORD? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? Psalms 13:12How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and every day have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy triumph over me? Psalms 13:23Look on me and answer, O LORD my God. Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death; Psalms 13:34my enemy will say, "I have overcome him," and my foes will rejoice when I fall. Psalms 13:45But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. Psalms 13:56I will sing to the LORD, for he has been good to me. Psalms 13:6
(Psalms 13 NIV)

Psalm 24: Founded upon the seas, lift up heads, gates...

1The earth is the LORD's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; Psalms 24:12for he founded it upon the seas and established it upon the waters. Psalms 24:23Who may ascend the hill of the LORD? Who may stand in his holy place? Psalms 24:34He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to an idol or swear by what is false. Psalms 24:45He will receive blessing from the LORD and vindication from God his Savior. Psalms 24:56Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, O God of Jacob. Selah Psalms 24:67Lift up your heads, O you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Psalms 24:78Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. Psalms 24:89Lift up your heads, O you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Psalms 24:910Who is he, this King of glory? The LORD Almighty -- he is the King of glory. Selah Psalms 24:10
(Psalms 24 NIV)

Monday, September 19, 1642, OS, 1 week ahead of theoretical date, "Wellington Declaration" given by Charles.

Short form of the declaration is:

REL PROT LEG ANG LIB PAR

or

RELIGIO PROTESTANTIUM LEGES ANGLIAE LIBERTAS PARLIAMENTI

Translated:

The religion of the Protestants, Laws of England and Liberty of Parliament.

Picture of a commemorative coin is here

Charles’ is marching to Wellington, giving his manifesto on the way.

By Saturday, September 24, 1642 OS, The Earl of Essex has advanced into Worchester. His troops desecrate the Cathedral.

A full chronology of this war is online. Read more here.

The editorial of this psalm suggests the Cathedral was not in the right and was desecrated as an act of divine retribution.

Psalm 25: Reuben

Reuben became the Scandinavian countries of Europe. He is best known for defiling his father’s bed.

That great sin, for which he lost the birthright promise, is reflected in this psalm.

1To you, O LORD, I lift up my soul; 2in you I trust, O my God. Do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me. Psalms 25:1-23No one whose hope is in you will ever be put to shame, but they will be put to shame who are treacherous without excuse. Psalms 25:34Show me your ways, O LORD, teach me your paths; Psalms 25:45guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. Psalms 25:56Remember, O LORD, your great mercy and love, for they are from of old. Psalms 25:67Remember not the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you are good, O LORD. Psalms 25:78Good and upright is the LORD; therefore he instructs sinners in his ways. Psalms 25:89He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way. Psalms 25:910All the ways of the LORD are loving and faithful for those who keep the demands of his covenant. Psalms 25:1011For the sake of your name, O LORD, forgive my iniquity, though it is great. Psalms 25:1112Who, then, is the man that fears the LORD? He will instruct him in the way chosen for him. Psalms 25:1213He will spend his days in prosperity, and his descendants will inherit the land. Psalms 25:1314The LORD confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them. Psalms 25:1415My eyes are ever on the LORD, for only he will release my feet from the snare. Psalms 25:1516Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted. Psalms 25:1617The troubles of my heart have multiplied; free me from my anguish. Psalms 25:1718Look upon my affliction and my distress and take away all my sins. Psalms 25:1819See how my enemies have increased and how fiercely they hate me! Psalms 25:1920Guard my life and rescue me; let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in you. Psalms 25:2021May integrity and uprightness protect me, because my hope is in you. Psalms 25:2122Redeem Israel, O God, from all their troubles! Psalms 25:22
(Psalms 25 NIV)

Psalm 32: Great London Fire

This particular psalm covers the main prophetic event at the time, the burning of London by fire. Much of the city took refuge in church buildings instead of in Jesus. Those that took refuge in buildings died in the fire. Many do the same thing today, trusting in the institutionalized church instead of in Jesus.

1Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Psalms 32:12Blessed is the man whose sin the LORD does not count against him and in whose spirit is no deceit. Psalms 32:23When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. Psalms 32:34For day and night your hand was heavy upon me; my strength was sapped as in the heat of summer. Selah Psalms 32:45Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the LORD" -- and you forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah Psalms 32:56Therefore let everyone who is godly pray to you while you may be found; surely when the mighty waters rise, they will not reach him. Psalms 32:67You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah Psalms 32:78I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you. Psalms 32:89Do not be like the horse or the mule, which have no understanding but must be controlled by bit and bridle or they will not come to you. Psalms 32:910Many are the woes of the wicked, but the LORD's unfailing love surrounds the man who trusts in him. Psalms 32:1011Rejoice in the LORD and be glad, you righteous; sing, all you who are upright in heart! Psalms 32:11
(Psalms 32 NIV)

Psalm 73: Manasseh

Manasseh became the United States.

The symbol, man, a common one for Manasseh shows up in this Psalm. The Psalm also reflects the national wealth, pride and eventual fall for the nation.

1Psalm 75 For the director of music. To the tune of "Do Not Destroy." A psalm of Asaph. A song. We give thanks to you, O God, we give thanks, for your Name is near; men tell of your wonderful deeds. Psalms 75:12You say, "I choose the appointed time; it is I who judge uprightly. Psalms 75:23When the earth and all its people quake, it is I who hold its pillars firm. Selah Psalms 75:34To the arrogant I say, `Boast no more,' and to the wicked, `Do not lift up your horns. 5Do not lift your horns against heaven; do not speak with outstretched neck.'" Psalms 75:4-56No one from the east or the west or from the desert can exalt a man. Psalms 75:67But it is God who judges: He brings one down, he exalts another. Psalms 75:78In the hand of the LORD is a cup full of foaming wine mixed with spices; he pours it out, and all the wicked of the earth drink it down to its very dregs. Psalms 75:89As for me, I will declare this forever; I will sing praise to the God of Jacob. Psalms 75:910I will cut off the horns of all the wicked, but the horns of the righteous will be lifted up. Psalms 75:10
(Psalms 75 NIV)

Psalm 87: Rahab, Babylon, Philistia, Tyre and Cush

The date for this psalm is April 2, 1815.

On April 3, 1815: NEW TREATY OF THE ALLIED POWERS signed between Russia, Austria, Prussia, and Great Britain over France.

5 names, 5 countries.

The text of the treaty is here

Psalm 97: Levi

Levi became the confederation of the Levi, commonly called the Swiss.

Originally the tribe was responsible for the "Mountain of God" or temple mount in Jerusalem. It was also given cities spread throughout the ancient kingdom.

Today the tribe lives in the Alps, but also includes all (or nearly all) city states around the world.

The Levites also ran cities of refuge, again reflected in this psalm.

1Psalm 97 The LORD reigns, let the earth be glad; let the distant shores rejoice. Psalms 97:12Clouds and thick darkness surround him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne. Psalms 97:23Fire goes before him and consumes his foes on every side. Psalms 97:34His lightning lights up the world; the earth sees and trembles. Psalms 97:45The mountains melt like wax before the LORD, before the Lord of all the earth. Psalms 97:56The heavens proclaim his righteousness, and all the peoples see his glory. Psalms 97:67All who worship images are put to shame, those who boast in idols -- worship him, all you gods! Psalms 97:78Zion hears and rejoices and the villages of Judah are glad because of your judgments, O LORD. Psalms 97:89For you, O LORD, are the Most High over all the earth; you are exalted far above all gods. Psalms 97:910Let those who love the LORD hate evil, for he guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked. Psalms 97:1011Light is shed upon the righteous and joy on the upright in heart. Psalms 97:1112Rejoice in the LORD, you who are righteous, and praise his holy name. Psalms 97:12
(Psalms 97 NIV)

Psalm 121: Zebulun

Zebulun became modern Greece. Likely also ancient Greece, since other parables about Zebulun suggest all modern nations sprung from Greece.

This unmoving nature of Zebulun is seen in this Psalm.

1Psalm 121 A song of ascents. I lift up my eyes to the hills -- where does my help come from? 2My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. Psalms 121:1-23He will not let your foot slip -- he who watches over you will not slumber; Psalms 121:34indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. Psalms 121:45The LORD watches over you -- the LORD is your shade at your right hand; Psalms 121:56the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. Psalms 121:67The LORD will keep you from all harm -- he will watch over your life; Psalms 121:78the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore. Psalms 121:8
(Psalms 121 NIV)

Psalm 133: Joseph

reflects the fact that Joseph is made up of two sub tribes, brothers, Ephraim and Manasseh. The known document was the Lend Lease treaty that allowed the United States to fund most of the world’s warfare against Germany in World War II.

The text of that psalm:

1Psalm 133 A song of ascents. Of David. How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity! Psalms 133:12It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron's beard, down upon the collar of his robes. Psalms 133:23It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the LORD bestows his blessing, even life forevermore. Psalms 133:3
(Psalms 133 NIV)

Psalm 145: Benjamin

The tribe of Benjamin became the modern nation of Israel.

The main redemptive gift of the nation is to keep a memory of the Old Testament, its ways, its language, the things recorded there.

This quality shows up early in the psalm.

1Psalm 145 A psalm of praise. Of David. I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever. Psalms 145:12Every day I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever. Psalms 145:23Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom. Psalms 145:34One generation will commend your works to another; they will tell of your mighty acts. Psalms 145:45They will speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty, and I will meditate on your wonderful works. Psalms 145:56They will tell of the power of your awesome works, and I will proclaim your great deeds. Psalms 145:67They will celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness. Psalms 145:78The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love. 9The LORD is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made. Psalms 145:8-910All you have made will praise you, O LORD; your saints will extol you. Psalms 145:1011They will tell of the glory of your kingdom and speak of your might, Psalms 145:1112so that all men may know of your mighty acts and the glorious splendor of your kingdom. Psalms 145:1213Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. The LORD is faithful to all his promises and loving toward all he has made. (Psalms 145 NIV)

Modern tight replay

The dates given above confirm the series of dates for the psalms in history. These dates are in the "tier3" series on the charts.

There is an interplay between these dates and the modern dates going by in tier 2. In other words, there may be a replay at a different scale than we are used to that also plays to the psalms.

By inspection, the following can be seen:

  • Psalm 90 in the tier 3, in June of 1823, hits at 12995/3/21 at about the 6th night time hour.

  • Psalm 150 in tier 3, in September of 1987, hits at 12997/10/12 at about the 6th or perhaps 7th hour of daylight.

These are 60 psalms apart
