Fig Tree Withered
The parable matches the flight to Egypt. The keyword is "millstone" which is the trips to Egypt for grain that Joseph had stored up. Jesus’ additional editorial deals with the brother’s lack of forgiveness towards each other. Matches 9071 AA, the year of going to Egypt.
Note: The fig tree withers as the drought at the time of going to Egypt withered all the vegetation in the land. This happened fast, like suggested in Matthew’s account.
This story is repeated again later as an end-of-the-age sign because he is using it to indicate the linkage to the "Fig Tree" sign used in the prophets. This use here indicates who these people are, or at least some of them.

20And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!
21Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
22And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.hosa an (whatsoever) - 'an' empty Matthew 21:20-22 KJV
20When the disciples saw this, they were amazed. "How did the fig tree wither so quickly?" they asked.
21Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, `Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and it will be done.
22If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer." Matthew 21:20-22 NIV
Mark (P)
20In the morning, as they went along, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots. Mark 11:20 NIV
20¶And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. Mark 11:20 KJV
21Peter remembered and said to Jesus, "Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has withered!"
22"Have faith in God," Jesus answered.
23"I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, `Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him.
24Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
25And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins."
26 Mark 11:21-26 NIV
21And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.
22And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
25And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
26But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses. Mark 11:21-26 KJV
