Psalms 77
1I cried to god with my voice, and he heard me; I have lifted up my voice to him, and he answered me.
2In the day of my trouble, I sought master; my torment continued through the night, and did not cease; there was no comforter for my soul.
3When I remembered, god, I was troubled; I meditated, and my spirit was overwhelmed.
4My eyes are dazed; I am mute, so that I cannot speak.
5I have considered the days of old; I am mindful of the years of ancient times.
6I meditated far into the night; I communed with my own heart; I have examined my soul and said,
7Has master forsaken me forever? And will he not be favorable any longer?
8Is his mercy gone forever? Does his promise fail forever?
9Has god forgotten to be gracious? Has he, in anger, shut up his tender mercies?
10And I said, This is my infirmity; it is another visitation of the power of the most high.
11I will remember the works of Yahvah; surely, I will remember your wonders of old.
12I will also meditate on all your works, and think of your skillful actions.
13Your way, god, is holy; there is no one as great as our god.
14You are the god that does wonders; you have declared your strength among the people.
15With your arm, you have saved your people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph.
16The waters saw you, god, the waters saw you; they were afraid; the depths were also troubled.
17The clouds poured out water; the skies sent out a sound; your arrows also flew around.
18The voice of your thunder was in the skies; the lightnings lit the world; the land trembled and shook.
19Your way is in the sea, and your path is in the great waters, but your footsteps are not seen.
20You led your people like a flock, by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
Obama Birth Certificate
The Chris Matthews show on MSNBC began showing facsimilies of a supposed birth certificate of Barack Obama.
The swearing in of Obama matches the day-for-a-year replay of 1605 when a false Russian Tzar was sworn in in Russia. That timing alone strongly suggests that Obama is also a pretender. The problem for the general community of faith is that this is a fringe way of viewing this historic presidency.
There have been quite a few people who have realized that there is a problem. The primary documentary evidence has been the failure of anyone to readily produce a copy of his birth certificate. Indeed, in many US courts failure to produce simple documentation that would readily defend an accused is considered evidence of guilt. By that standard alone Obama has been guilty for many months. Secondary evidence rests on the testimony of his grandmother, present at his birth in Kenya.
Recent You Tube video, and at least one court case involving military personnel, seems to have pushed someone at the White House to produce, or release, a forgery in order to shift the discussion. Matthews began airing copies on the 21st of July, 2009. By July 22, 2009, he had conveniently lined up guests to continue to shout slurs at those who have raised this issue for many months. Various other main stream media, including Lou Dobbs on CNN, brought up the subject on the prophetic date as well, suggesting a co-ordinated White House plan to put this line of argument to rest.
The simple answer, evident for months, is that shy of a real birth certificate, the powers that be have needed a forgery. It has taken 6 months to produce such a document, and to prepare a co-ordinated media response.
The timing of this event matches this Psalm essentially directly, and the text of the Psalm discusses the issues.
The first verse to note is number 5. Considering the "days of old" or "ancient times" is what this document is suddenly causing those opposed to Obama to consider. Obama's birth in August of 1961 is nearly 48 years before, ancient by modern political standards. Hawaii at the time was just barely a state. If valid, the document must be 48 years old. This is what the Psalm needs as a fulfillment event, one of the most peculiar in the entire set.
Generally speaking it is the US Christian community that has opposed Obama on his legitimacy for failure to produce a valid birth certificate. Everyone else has basically been blinded by Obama's tongue. Nobody else is sensitive to the spiritual climate surrounding Obama. World Net Daily has been the primary website for this discussion, covering the issue for weeks on end. The Psalmist writes from the same perspective as this specific Christian community, and the tone of the Psalm is the same as that felt within these same circles.
Realizing that they've had their entire argument squashed based on a forgery leads to the response seen in verse 7. Has God stopped defending his people? Verse 8, is he going to just leave us with this evil man in control of the government purse? Even the opening of the Psalm, the first 3 verses, is on this issue. Verse 10 finally turns to the Biblical truth that God is in control, even if it looks helpless, even if Hitler is in office.
After verse 11 the tone of this Psalm changes. The Psalmist meditates on other ancient stories, the one that matters for Obama is the Exodus from Egypt. Aaron and Moses were the rulers when God himself took the Israelites out of Egypt, and they are mentioned by name in verse 20.
The end of the matter for Pharaoh was the sea. The sea is mentioned specifically in verse 16. Symbolically waters also represent truth, and the Psalmist suggests that truth will eventually be discovered.
Of course Obama is Pharaoh, so there will be an end to this matter, even if at this point the public voice of righteousness has been silenced. The currently running modern replay of the Exodus ends with Pharaoh in the seas.
Major Eclipse
People across parts of Asia witnessed the longest eclipse expected this century. The eclipse became total at 00:53 GMT and lasted until 4:18 GMT, exactly crossing the theoretical time for this Psalm at 3:04 GMT. Verses 11 and 12 vaguely hint at this sort of fulfillment.
Noctilucent Clouds
A very strange sight was seen across parts of Europe (The UK, Sweeden and Poland.) as Noctilucent (NLC) clouds were seen. Verses 17 and 18 in this Psalm hint at events in the clouds.
