¹Be merciful to me, god, be merciful to me; for my soul trusts in you; yes, in the shadow of your wings, I will make my refuge until these calamities be over.

⁸Awake, my harp; awake, psaltery and harp; I myself will awake early.
⁹I will praise you, master, among the people; I will sing to your name among the nations.
¹⁰For your mercy is exalted to the skies and your faithfulness to the skies.
