43 Luke 23:5-12
⁵But they shouted and said, He has stirred up our people, teaching throughout Judea, and beginning from Galilee even to this place.

⁶When Pilate heard the name Galilee, he asked if the man was a Galilean.
⁷And when he knew that he was under the jurisdiction of Herod, he sent him to Herod, because he was in Jerusalem at that time.
⁸When Herod saw Jesus, he was exceedingly glad, for he had wanted to see him for a long time, because he had heard many things concerning him, and he hoped to see some miracle by him.
⁹And he asked him many questions; but Jesus gave him no answer.
¹⁰Then the high priests and the scribes stood and accused him bitterly.
¹¹And Herod and his soldiers insulted him and mocked him, and dressed him in a scarlet robe and sent him to Pilate.
¹²And that day, Pilate and Herod became friends with each other; for there had been a long-standing enmity between them.

40 John 18:39-19:0
³⁹You have a custom that I should release to you one at the passover; therefore do you wish that I release to you this king of the Jews?
⁴⁰They all cried out saying, Not him, but Bar-Abba. Now this Bar-Abba was a bandit.

40 John 19:1-3
¹Then Pilate had Jesus scourged.
²And the soldiers wove a crown of thorns and placed it on his head, and they covered him with purple robes;
³and they said, Peace be to you, king of the Jews. And they struck him on his cheeks.
