Jewish leaders gather and decide to send Jesus to Pilot.
All 4 gospels time this event as in the morning. Timed here at 6:00 AM, first hour after sunrise.
40 John 18:28
28Then they brought Jesus from Caiaphas to the Praetorium; and it was morning; and they did not enter into the Praetorium, so that they might not be defiled before they ate the passover.
41 Matthew 27:1
1When it was morning, the high priests and the elders of the people took counsel concerning how to put Jesus to death.
42 Mark 15:1
1And immediately in the morning, the high priests took counsel together with the elders and the scribes and with the whole council; and they bound Jesus and took him away, and delivered him to Pilate the governor.
43 Luke 22:66
66As soon as it was daybreak, the elders and the high priests and the scribes gathered together and brought him up to their council chamber.
41 Matthew 27:2
2So they bound him, and took him and delivered him to Pilate the governor.
43 Luke 22:67-23:0
67And they said to him, If you are an anointed, tell us. He said to them, If I tell you, you will not believe me.
68And if I ask you, you will not answer me nor release me.
69From now on, the son of man will sit at the right hand of the power of god.
70And they all said, Are you, then, the son of god? Jesus said to them, You say that I am.
71And they said, Then why do we need witnesses? For we have heard it from his own mouth.
43 Luke 23:1
1Then the whole company of them rose up and brought him to Pilate;
Judas returns 30 pieces of Silver
41 Matthew 27:3-10
3Then Judas the traitor, when he saw that Jesus was convicted, repented, and went away and brought back the same 30 pieces of silver to the high priests and the elders.
4And he said, I have sinned, because I have betrayed innocent blood. But they said to him, What is that to us? You know better.
5Then he threw the silver in the temple, and departed. He went and hung himself.
6The high priests took the silver and said, It is not lawful to put it in the house of offerings, because it is the price of blood.
7And they took counsel, and bought with it the potter's field, for a cemetery for strangers.
8On this account, that field was called The field of blood, to this day.
9Then what was spoken by the prophet was fulfilled, who said, I took the 30 pieces of silver, the costly price which was bargained with the sons of Israel.
10And I gave them for the potter's field, (19:11:12) as master commanded me.
