Tom Cruise proposed to Katie Holmes atop the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Tom's marriage proposal is similar to the prophetic story expected at nearly the same time as his proposal. Interesting, too, is Tom's next movie: War of the Worlds, the worldwide opening date has prophetic significance.
In days before passion week, Jesus began to move towards Jerusalem. Along the way he encountered Zacchaeus in Jericho. The following is the account.

43 Luke 19:1-10
1And Jesus entered and passed through Jericho.
2And, behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus, which was the chief among the publicans, and he was rich.
3And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature.
4And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way.
5And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house.
6And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully.
7And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner.
8And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.
9And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham.
10For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

43 Luke 19:1-10
1AND when Jesus entered and passed through Jericho
2There was a man named Zaccai, who was rich and chief of the tax collectors.
3And he wanted to see who Jesus was; but he could not because of the crowd, for Zaccai was small in stature.
4So he ran ahead of Jesus, and climbed up into a leafless fig tree, that he might see him, because he was to pass that way.
5When Jesus came to that place, he saw him and said to him, Make haste, come down, O Zaccai, for today I must stay at your house.
6And he hastened and came down, and welcomed him with joy.
7Now when they all saw it, they murmured, saying, He has entered to stay in the house of a sinner.
8But Zaccai rose up and said to Jesus, Behold, my Lord, half of my wealth I will give to the poor; and I will pay fourfold to every man from whom I have extorted.
9Jesus said to him, Today life has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham.
10For the Son of man came to seek and save that which was lost. (LAM)
43 Luke 19:1-10
1He entered Jericho and was passing through.
2And there was a man named Zacchae'us; he was a chief tax collector, and rich.
3And he sought to see who Jesus was, but could not, on account of the crowd, because he was small of stature.
4So he ran on ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see him, for he was to pass that way.
5And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up and said to him, "Zacchae'us, make haste and come down; for I must stay at your house today."
6So he made haste and came down, and received him joyfully.
7And when they saw it they all murmured, "He has gone in to be the guest of a man who is a sinner."
8And Zacchae'us stood and said to the Lord, "Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have defrauded any one of anything, I restore it fourfold."
9And Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, since he also is a son of Abraham.
10For the Son of man came to seek and to save the lost."(RSV)
43 Luke 19:1-10
1Jesus entered Jericho and was passing through.
2A man was there by the name of Zacchaeus; he was a chief tax collector and was wealthy.
3He wanted to see who Jesus was, but being a short man he could not, because of the crowd.
4So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore-fig tree to see him, since Jesus was coming that way.
5When Jesus reached the spot, he looked up and said to him, "Zacchaeus, come down immediately. I must stay at your house today." 6So he came down at once and welcomed him gladly.
7All the people saw this and began to mutter, "He has gone to be the guest of a `sinner.'"
8But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord, "Look, Lord! Here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anybody out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount."
9Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham. 10For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost."(NIV)

The prophetic replay was expected near sunrise in Jerusalem on Friday, June 17, 2005. This was at about 4:00 AM GMT.
Tom Cruise is a short, rich man who proposed in the Eiffel tower.
Tom is variously reported as 5 foot 7 inches tall, or about 3 inches below average for white, American males. This puts him somewhere near the 10th percentile, so 90% of all men are taller than Cruise, fulfilling the story nicely. (A height percentile chart is here).
Tom's net worth is estimated at about $250 million. A list of the 20 richest people in show business lists Cruise as number 14. Cruise qualifies as a rich man, as per the prophetic story. The full list of the top 20 richest people in show business is here.
Of course the Eiffel Tower in Paris is a fine prophetic match to the tree that Zacchaeus was in at this story.
The exact time that Cruise proposed is unknown, none of the major media reported the exact time. The articles did say, though, that it was in the early hours of June 17, 2005. This is a very close match to the expected time.
Tom's proposal of marriage to Katie Holmes is very similar to the proposal Jesus made to Zacchaeus. Marriage is a Biblical model for the relation between Jesus (the husband) and Christians (the wife). Jesus' proposal to Zacchaeus was quite similar to Tom's proposal to Katie.
So, a marriage proposal, which is what Jesus was asking in a spiritual sense of Zacchaeus, is a fine prophetic match to the Bible's story.
The media have also been full of rumors about what Cruise is up to, if this is a marriage for political reasons, or genuine. This, too, is a match to the story.
It is also curious that Cruise has been associated with the Church of Scientology, known variously as the "Cult of Greed" which may be similar to what the crowds thought of the tax collecting Zacchaeus.
Cruise was in Paris promoting the June 29, 2005, opening of his latest movie, War of the Worlds. This is an updated remake of the classic, first published as a novel in French in 1898, a radio drama in 1938, and as a movie in 1953 (or 1955 depending on the source.)
The plot for the movie is now a staple from Hollywood, aliens invade, destroy everything, while the hero saves his family.
Jesus tells a parable after the Zacchaeus encounter, and presumably while he stayed in Zacchaeus's house, that ends with a punch line...

This punch line is, of course, the general plot for the War of the Worlds movie.
The original H. G. Wells classic novel was itself a highly prophetic book, foretelling many of the technologies that would be found in regular earthly warfare over the 50 years after the book was written.
The original War of the Worlds was also much more religious than the more recent versions of the story. A study guide on the original book, pointing out many of the scripture references, is here.
The linkage of Tom Cruise, and Zacchaeus, to this particular movie appears to be part of the prophetic story.
The June 29, 2005, world wide opening of this movie also has an interesting prophetic significance. The movie, of course, deals with invaders from space. When Jesus returns he will be similarly viewed as a space invader.
The entire time line is converging on a time in the spring of 2010. One of the known prophetic stories for that general season is a replay of the Exodus stories, in particular the following around May 1, 2010.
2 Exodus 19:18
2 Exodus 19:18 18And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly. (KJV)

2 Exodus 19:18 18Mount Sinai, all it, smoked, because the LORD descended on it in fire; and its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked greatly. (WEB/HNV)
2 Exodus 19:18 18And the whole mountain of Sinai was smoking because Yahvah descended on it in fire; and the smoke of it ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked greatly. (BRB)
The 3500th anniversary of this event is in the spring of 2010. The June 29: 2005, opening of the movie is on the 30:1 prophetic pre-play of the time line and nearly aligns with this same date, off only by time zone effects. (For readers with copies of the charts, see page 148.)
Another prophetic match to this movie? Perhaps.
