President Reagan was involved in several day-for-a-year prophetic Bible stories from the 1980s. The most notable was the Iceland Summit with Gorbachev when the Cold War effectively ended. His exceptional life length also matches a tenth of Adam's life. In several ways Reagan's death may be related to current headlines. A Bible Time tribute to Reagan.
Ronald Reagan became the President of the United States after winning the 1980 Presidential election. He was 69 when he became president, the oldest man ever elected to the office. He served two terms in office before retiring to California where he had previously served as Governor. On Saturday, June 5, 2004, he died of complications related to Alzheimer's.
The time line itself began replaying Bible stories in headline news in 1974, with Nixon's resignation. The time line offered occasional dates until the replay of Noah's flood in 1990 and 1991.
The 8 years that Reagan served as America's President were relatively quiet on the day-for-a-year prophetic time line. But, there were a few dates during his presidency and he was involved in most of the fulfillment headlines.
The United States, prophetically speaking, is a match to Adam in the Bible. The expressions 'Son of Man,' 'Son of Joseph,' man and mankind are all used to refer to the United States in prophetic language in the Bible. The 'two great lights' used to mark prophetic time in world political affairs are the United States and Russia respectively.
The first prophetic event on the modern day-for-a-year repetition of Adam's race hit in July, 1974. That date saw the resignation of Richard Nixon. Many other prophetic dates involved the men who held the office of President of the United States, as the Bible's prophetic language would suggest.
Ronald Reagan's political life was no exception. He was involved in most of the dates that passed while he was in office. He was also involved in at least one prophetic date fulfillment before he became President. Curious, though, even before these dates is Reagan's overall life length. Here we find a prophetic match to Adam that no other President comes even close to matching.
Ronald Reagan was born in 1911 and as the reports have been saying, he was 93 years old at his death.
Adam himself lived 930 full years.1 You should recognize this immediately as 10 times more years than Reagan himself. In other words, Reagan lived a tenth, or tithe, of Adam's life. This makes sense when you consider a prophetic match between the United States generally (it's Presidents especially) and Adam as a type.
The comparison between both men works more precisely when measured in days.
Ronald Reagan was born on February 6, 1911. He died June 5, 2004. He lived 34,088 days.
Adam's 930 years can also be converted into days. Though the Bible does not give the dates within the years of his life, the total years, 930, can be converted into days using the Cross Calendar Tools of the www.bibletime.com web site. Those tools suggest Adam lived 339,240 days.
Dividing Adam's life length by 10 yields 33,924 days or 164 days shy of Ronald Reagan's overall life length.
The error from the theoretical tithe is less than 1/2 of 1 percent. This is stunningly close, better than most scientific lab work. If Ronald Reagan was kept alive by modern medical care for a few months, while his spirit left his body earlier, then the gap could be tighter still. Unfortunately only Jesus, and perhaps his family, know for sure.
Ronald Reagan is a prophetic match to Adam himself, and in various ways is the archetype for the prophetic match between the United States and Adam. Ronald Reagan exemplified many of the best traits of Americans because of his central role in America's prophetic story line. This is why his death is causing so much mourning in the United States.
Reagan's first appearance on the prophetic time line is at a congressional hearing over the Panama Canal Treaty on September 9, 1977. Reagan was leading the opposition to this treaty. He believed the Canal should remain in American hands. The general fear, as would later be born out, was that another super power would fill the vacuum left by America leaving Panama. (As China has now done.)
This September 9, 1977, date was called out by the day-for-a-year time line because this was the replay of the first year of Kennan's life. It was what I call a 'pattern date' because the date has no Bible narrative with which to look for prophetic fulfillment. All that can be done is look for patterns that hit other dates. The main pattern in that season was the Panama Canal Treaty itself.
Talks between the United States and Panama began February 13, 1977. This was the prophetic day-for-a-year replay of the death of Adam. Adam, the United States prophetically, was slowly being dismembered of it's empire and this was the first meeting over the very first little piece of ground lost in the process. The Panama Canal Treaty showed up in a pattern on the dates at the time. Considering the link to Adam that Reagan naturally commands it is curious his first appearance on the time is linked to the treaty linked to the death of Adam.
Note about China: China is the nation that plays the role of the Serpent from the Garden of Eden stories in Genesis. This, to national Adam, or the United States. Nixon's supposed highest accomplishment in office was the so-called 'opening of China.' What he really did was eat the forbidden fruit. This happened because of America's national sin. That China would get the Canal over the objections of many including Reagan is only a fitting fulfillment of the general story line of the time.
Ronald Reagan shows up again on the time line again in August of 1982 when he ordered 800 United States Marines shipped to Beruit. He was intervening in Israel's war in Lebanon at the time. Many of those Marines would be killed by a truck bomb much like Oklahoma City's Federal building. One wonders, when reading through the accounts of Reagan's time in office if he was independently deciding to do these things or if others were conspiring to put him up to it. Either way, as Reagan so rightly believed, God is in control of these things.
Ronald Reagan showed up again on a day-for-a-year end-times prophetic date in January 1983 when he hosted a summit with Egypt's Mubarak in Washington DC. Curious that Mubarak is still around after more than 20 years.
In March of 1985 Mikhail Gorbachev came to power in the Soviet Union after the death of Konstantin Chernenko. Gorbachev had risen from obscurity in a sudden fashion typical of someone being groomed for high office outside of the typical pattern of seniority. (I believe he was/is a Mason or someone with ties to the Russian equivalent of Free Masonry. His political career is covered with clues he was groomed for the job.)
Within weeks of taking over the Soviet Union Gorbachev showed up on the prophetic day-for-a-year time line on April 7, 1985, when declared a moratorium on SS-20 intermediate range nuclear missiles. Gorbachev was making his announcement on the ancient Christian Julian calendar's New Year's day. It was a challenge to Reagan to do the same. It was the start of the end of the Soviet Union.
On June 10, 1985, the next prophetic date along the time line, Ronald Reagan responded to Gorbachev in kind and unilaterally agreed to the SALT II limits on nuclear missiles. Reagan was standing down, in deliberate response to what Gorbachev had done at the previous date.
Note: SALT was the acronym for Strategic Arms Limitations Talks. Commonly misunderstood in dealings with the Russians, the word 'Strategic' is only used to refer to Nuclear arms. It appears to spring from the Russian vocabulary for Nuclear arms. This term has been recently used in treaties between Russia and China and Russia and North Korea. Despite American popular opinion, the Russians are still a nuclear power.
On April 6, 1986, New Years Eve on the old Julian Christian Calendar, talks were held in Washington DC leading up to a summit between Reagan and Gorbachev in Iceland. This was the next prophetic date after June 10. The two leaders were going to meet face-to-face and the low level discussions were being held in order to plan out the meeting. ( This date was also curious because there was a bombing of a night club in Germany that was used by Reagan to justify bombing of Libya. Libya would retaliate in a Masonic plot involving Pan Am flight 103 over Scotland. But, Libya's retaliation was still future.)
Finally, across the weekend of October 11, 1986, Reagan and Gorbachev met face to face in Iceland. This was the next prophetic date for the time, and likely the highlight of Reagan's political career.
Basically Gorbachev had called the meeting and was offering to stand-down in the Cold War between the United States and Russia. Reagan's political instincts would not let him believe much of what Gorbachev was saying. The meetings ended publicly in political deadlock. But, it was what Americans now credit Reagan with most: Ending the Cold War with Russia.
Reagan would leave office as one of the most beloved of all American presidents. He did so before any more day-for-a-year prophetic dates passed in headline news, though he would prophetically call out the collapse of the Berlin wall before he left office.
Reagan's instincts over Russia were likely far better than most Americans would now give him credit. He did not trust the Russian military establishment. The issues with Russia going broke, which it would do later on future day-for-a-year prophetic dates, were secondary to the largest stockpile of nuclear missiles the world had ever seen. Russia was also ideologically intertwined with China.
The Russians had a long-documented plan to feign military weakness in order to lull the west into disarming. Gorbachev's actions were the first stage in that plan. Though it would be carried out sloppily, carry it out they did.
Between the years 300 AD and about 450 AD the ancient Roman empire divided into two distinct warring camps. The capitals split and the bi-polar political world that we know of today started a long process of formation. The term 'Czar' used for the Russia leadership until the communist revolution was a Russian contraction of the ancient word for Caesar, the leader of Rome.
That split between East and West comes back again when those ancient years replay in late 2005. Trouble with Russia and China is far from over. Reagan's gut instincts were correct. Americans simply have trouble understanding historical timing.
The last prophetic date that the day-for-a-year time line called out explicitly was May 31, 2004, when it replayed the return of Jesus to his home town. Jesus read about the year of favor and by implication the day of vengeance. That year ends late summer 2005, coincident with the modern prophetic replay of the split between the eastern and western branches of ancient Rome. (The split in the Mount, or government, of Olives.)
Reagan's death was within reasonable tolerance of that prophetic date and likely bears on at least part of the modern fulfillment. Reagan is to take a trip back to Washington DC, prophetically his home town, on his way to a Friday sunset burial in California. He will be eulogized just as Jesus initially was eulogized.
Enoch's ascension, the story that lead to the Iceland summit, replays again in September, 2004. More details will be posted here on Bible Time News as the specific dates draw closer.
But, note something about the divine timing of Reagan's death. America is reliving the events of Reagan's presidency as we collectively mourn the loss of a great leader. The headlines are driving a reliving of the stories that the nation will be faced with again in another few months and then again in about a year and a half. Jesus has timed Reagan's death and funeral with exquisite detail. Reagan did not suffer with 10 years of Alzheimer's for nothing. His nation needs his death now.
I actually met President Reagan and his wife Nancy on a campaign stop in Rochester, Minnesota, in 1984. The campaign had a few extra hours to kill and made a more-or-less unplanned layover at the Rochester airport. I had never before been involved in politics. That morning I heard about their visit and I had a compulsion to go to the airport. I went, just to see what I might see.
Most of the key Republicans from Minnesota showed up for a speech in the airport. Only party people could get in the front door to the airport and then only with a ticket. The public came out in droves to wish Reagan well. Most of us ended up along a fence that normally kept deer from wandering onto the runway. After his speech Ron and Nancy were headed back into Air Force One and decided to visit with people along the fence. They walked down the stairs and perhaps 100 yards along the the fence. They stopped and talked to people before they had to leave to continue their trip back east.
Reagan's genuine concern for the average people around him is one of the most enduring features of his presidency. Something I saw first hand that day.
