Soviet Unravels as Noah's Mountains Become Visible

On the first day of the 10th month Noah could see mountains. Prophetic for governments, those mountains were the new nations spinning out of the Soviet Union. Gorbachev remained on the spot and resigned his post in the Communist Party.

Background

On the first day of the tenth month of Noah's 600th year the mountains became visible. This particular date maps to September 1, 1991. This is the date some mountains should become visible.

The Book of Daniel includes a reference to story where a rock smashes various worldly governments and grows into a mountain. That mountain is Jesus' own government. The story defines the prophetic word "mountain" as government. In Noah's story a use of that term turns up, one that matters on this date.

On August 17, 1991, in a series of very tense headlines, tanks appeared on the streets of Moscow. In a famous pose Yeltsin himself climbed atop one and took a stand against this coup attempt.

In the following two weeks at least the following voted independence, or some form of limited independence, from the Soviet Union:

• Estonia August 20, 1991.

• Latvia August 21, 1991.

• Lithuania August 21, 1991.

• Ukraine August 24, 1991.

• Moldovia August 27, 1991.

These are the governments, the mountains, that were becoming visible. A dozen such governments spun out of the Soviet Union by early 1992.

Gorbachev Resigns

Gorbachev, seeing what was happening, set about to transfer power from the now defunct Soviet Union to the various nations that were clearly going to emerge from this collapse. On the exact indicated date, September 1, 1991, Gorbachev quickly drafted a plan to transfer power to the Republics. It was approved 4 days later on September 5, 1991.

Also on September 1, 1991, Gorbachev himself in an attempt to distance himself from the collapsing Soviet Union, resigned his job as General Secretary of the Communist party. Indeed, the mountains were now visible, and the old one was dissolving. 4 months later the Soviet Union would be gone.

At this point Noah's story takes a turn. 40 days later he sends out a raven and dove. Those events are prophetic for peace process events in October.
