Noah builds an alter -- Russia stops aiming weapons

A survey of the events of this weekend shows Yeltsin doing a interesting thing. He said that Russia would stop aiming its nuclear weapons at the cities of the United States.

This may not make much sense standing alone, but a couple verses in the New Testament explain. "If you are offering a gift and remember that you have something against your brother, leave your gift in front of the alter and go be reconciled to your brother, then, come and offer your gift." ¹

This is what Russia was doing. It was an act of reconciliation that was important. If Russia was going to survive it need the American help and money. Pointing nuclear weapons at your brother is not a good thing, especially while at the alter.

America responded in kind, the cold war was over.
